Photos: Tragic accident in Awka, Anambra kills man, wife & their 2 children

Tragedy struck today when a trailer fell on a car carrying a family of six near Finotel Agu-Awka Junction, along Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, Awka, killing three, including both parents and a son. Their 4-month old baby and two other little ones survived and are in the hospital.

Governor Obiano and wife, Osodieme went to Regina Caeli Hospital to see the survivors of the ghastly accident. See more photos after the cut...

The Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has fixed Tuesday July 28 to Thursday July 30 for its post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening exercise. The Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK),eenixercis According to a statement by the university’s registrar, Dalhatu O. Mamman , the examinations will hold from Tuesday July 28 to Thursday July 30. Candidates from the Faculties of Law, Arts and Education will kick off the screening on Tuesday 28th July, followed by Faculties of Social Sciences and Natural and Applied Sciences on Wednesday 29th July white those from the Faculties of Administration and Agriculture will sit for theirs on Thursday 30th July. The men were reportedly on the verge of kidnapping a woman when they were apprehended and the jungle justice was meted on them by a mob.
