TRAGEDY AVOIDED


airwayTragedy was averted  at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2) in Lagos following a ground collision of two aircraft belonging to FirstNation Airways.
The incident involved two Airbus 330 conveying not fewer than 250 passengers.
A source at the airport said one of the aircrafts was taxiing from the runway to MMA2, to disengage passengers while the other aircraft was preparing to take off to Port-Harcourt Airport from the same terminal.
The two aircraft had their bodies partially damaged as a result of the collision.
Following the incident, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), immediately, grounded both aircraft while passengers were asked to disembark from the aircraft.
The NCAA also confirmed the incident in a statement issued by its General Manager, Public Affairs, Mr Fan Ndubuoke.

CAR RECOVERED

RECOVERY OF STOLEN VEHICLE AND ARREST OF SUSPECTS (DELTA STATE)  Website Admin.  15/7/15__5:49:21 pm     0 Likes     0 Comment(s)     184 View(s) Police Patrol team attached to t he Delta State Police Command  on 14th July, 2015 at about 03:30am intercepted  a  stolen Toyota  Camry Salon car  (reg. No. withheld)   along Warri/ Sapele Road, Delta State.  The driver was discovered to be operating the car with a master-key, two other male suapects with the driver were also arrested. The owner of the car  got to know anout the theft when Police contacted him on phone and upon checking where he parked the vehicle discovered same had been taken away.  However, the State SCIID  Asaba, is  currently investigating the case.
