California police drag man out of the way of an oncoming train Two police officers saved a man from being hit from an oncoming train and the dramatic rescue was all caught on video. Dep. Lance Whitted, from the San Mateo County Sheriff’s office, pulled a driver to safety Monday night, just seconds before a commuter train came down the tracks in Sunnyvale, California.  His partner, Dep. Erik Rueppel, tried to buy Whitted more time as he waved for the oncoming train to slow down. “This is what we’re trained to do,” Whitted said. “Luckily, we were at the right place at the right time.” The driver of the car had crashed into a pole and onto the tracks as the train was coming. The dramatic video shows him falling down seconds before the train crashes into his car left on the tracks “I don’t think there was time to be scared. Fatal Accident Along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

Fatal accident along Lagos-Ibadan expressway leaves driver, passengers burnt beyond recognition A driver and many of his passengers were burnt beyond recognition in a fatal accident along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway this afternoon. Eyewitnesses say the bus driver was picking passengers on the expressway and upon sighting members of the National Union Of Road Transport Workers Task Force, he sped off and ran into a ditch. The bus somersaulted and burst into flames. The bus driver and most of the passengers died in the ensuing fire. Two passengers escaped with major burns. 75 YEAR OLD BUSINESS MAN DIED AFTER.......

A 75-year-old Spanish businessman has died after being shot in the head in Mexico City, while two people were seriously wounded on Monday when a custody dispute turned violent at a shopping centre in an upscale part of the city, authorities said. The shootings, which occurred in areas not generally plagued by violence, were the latest incidents to weigh on Mexico’s security record. A spokeswoman for Mexico City Attorney General Edmundo Garrido said the Spaniard, Jose Gonzalez, died in a hospital after being shot around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday in the northwestern borough of Miguel Hidalgo. In a statement, the office of the attorney general said the man was shot outside one of his businesses, in a part of the borough known as Escandon, a normally peaceful area. The motive for the shooting was under investigation, according to the spokeswoman. It was also unclear how many people took part in the attack on Gonzalez, she said.
