A Nigerian woman reportedly drowned while
taking her children from Libya to Europe on board
an overcrowded boat on Friday.
According to Associated Press, two Nigerian kids
among the 150 migrants rescued by a Spanish
agency revealed how their mother drowned in the
Mediterranean sea on Friday.
The children (10-year-old boy and 11-year-
old girl) were seen crying as they comfort each
other aboard a rescue boat.
The Spanish NGO said over 3000 African migrants
had drowned in the Mediterranean sea this year
alone.

Mark Dombroski, 19, was last seen early Sunday morning at a bar, a representative from Bermuda Police Services said. STUDENT UNION VOWS TO PROTEST...

The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has vowed to stage a nationwide protest next week following the increase in petroleum pump price and removal of oil subsidy. NANS President, Tijani Shehu, told newsmen that their organization is already mobilizing Nigerian students to resist the new N145 per litre pump price of petrol.
