Armed Robbers In Apapa & Ikotun Lagos
Rapid Response Squad officers nabbed two
armed robbers at two separate locations in Lagos
this week.
One of the robbers, 22-year-old Bashir Wasiu who
hails from Oyo State was caught in Olodi Apapa
around 6:35am on Tuesday the 19th of July while
another robber 23-year-old Tunde Adedeji from
Abeokuta was nabbed on Monday July 18 2016 in
Ikotun around 4:33am.
Police recovered laptop, 18 cellular phones, gun
and jewellery from the robbers.

Maryam Abacha university degrees not recognised – NUC The National Universities Commission has warned that degrees obtained from Maryam Abacha American University of Niger Republic (MAAUN) are sub-standard and will not be accepted in Nigeria, saying henceforth such certificates would not be recognised as a means of seeking employment or doing other legitimate business in Nigeria. The NUC Director of Information and Public Relations, Malam Ibrahim Yakasai, handed down the warning while briefing newsmen on Thursday in Abuja. According to him, NUC has been inundated with inquiries from some Nigerian students who have been offered admission in MAAUN on part time with a graduation time of four semesters.
