Donald Trump Adds Virgin Islands Delegates

Donald Trump has added eight delegates from the U.S. Virgin Islands, pulling him within 68 delegates of clinching the Republican nomination for president.
John Canegata is a Trump delegate. He is also chairman of the US territory's Republican Party.
Canegata says eight of the territory's nine delegates have pledged to support Trump. The last one is uncommitted.
There is a dispute over which Republican delegates from the Virgin Islands will be sent to the national convention. Six delegates elected at the territorial convention in March were disqualified.
If the disqualified delegates press their case, the matter could ultimately be decided by the credentials committee at the national convention.
Trump now has 1 169 delegates. It takes 1 237 to win the GOP nomination

Fatal accident along Lagos-Ibadan expressway leaves driver, passengers burnt beyond recognition A driver and many of his passengers were burnt beyond recognition in a fatal accident along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway this afternoon. Eyewitnesses say the bus driver was picking passengers on the expressway and upon sighting members of the National Union Of Road Transport Workers Task Force, he sped off and ran into a ditch. The bus somersaulted and burst into flames. The bus driver and most of the passengers died in the ensuing fire. Two passengers escaped with major burns. Higuian closes in on juventus move

Gonzalo Higuain has undergone a medical with Juventus and agreed personal terms as he closes in on a move to the Serie A champions. The Bianconeri have agreed to pay the Argentina international's €94 million release clause, with Napoli set to receive the money in two sets of €47m installments.
